Internal assessment
Internal assessment of the students is done as per PCI syllabus implemented by Shivaji University from academic year 2017-18.
The internal assessment of the course include TWO Components: Continuous Mode and Sessional Exam
Continuous Mode: |
The marks allocated for Continuous mode of Internal Assessment are 10 for theory and 05 for practical course.
For Theory course marks are divided in three different sectors viz:
- Attendance
- Academic activities (Average of any 3 activities e.g. quiz, assignment, open book test, field work, group discussion and seminar)
- Student – Teacher interaction
For Practical course marks are divided in two different sectors viz:
- Attendance
- Practical Records, Regular viva voce, etc.

Sessional Exam: |
Two Sessional exams shall be conducted for each theory / practical course as per the schedule fixed by the college.
Sessional exam shall be conducted for 30 marks for theory and marks obtained shall be computed for 15 marks. Similarly Sessional exam for practical shall be conducted for 40 marks and shall be computed for 10 marks.
The average marks of two Sessional exams shall be considered for Sessional exam component of internal assessment.

Improvement of internal assessment: |
A student shall have the opportunity to improve his/her performance only once in the Sessional exam component of the internal assessment. The re-conduct of the Sessional exam shall be completed before the commencement of next end semester theory examinations. |
